This mother went through a quick and fairly easy delivery with their girl, all at home! The father was on the phone with the emergency line while he helped her deliver their newest baby. Thankfully this is her second child so she knew what she was doing and everyone is healthy and happy.

Sometime when you photograph babies older than a few months it can be challenging. Whether that is due to teething issues or any of the many things babies’ can be upset by. That was not the case in this particular session!

I met this exquisite mother at my friend's workshop and we bonded instantly. In that exact moment we knew we wanted to do a newborn session together. We swaddled the newborn using exotic faux fur, wool and cotton wraps in colors that bring warmth and comfort to the photos.

Isn’t she precious? This little “chocolate drop” (as her momma calls her) was a treat to have in my Surrey studio.

This has been a great start of a new year. After a much appreciated break away from work life to celebrate Christmas and the New Year, it has been wonderful to get back into a steady routine.
