Beautiful afro newborn session in Surrey

Isn’t she precious? This little “chocolate drop” (as her momma calls her) was a treat to have in my Surrey studio. Her beautiful dark skin lit up my imagination and I quickly began having ideas on different poses, props and colours that I believed would work well for her. Although she was having some tummy problems during the session we were still able to capture a few wonderful shots.

Our session was cut short but I just knew I would be needing her and her parents back in my studio. They came all the way from North Vancouver for the session last weekend but eagerly agreed to come back again! I was thinking that she would make an excellent little model for some spring shots when she’s a little older.

I feel so lucky! Ive had so many wonderful babies in my studio llately. Can’t wait to have even more.
